VOLUNTEER AGAINST HUNGER!

The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank has traditionally distributed food solely through hundreds of local food pantries throughout the region. With the growing economic crisis, it became clear that extraordinary times call for extraordinary efforts to reach out to our region's hungry.

The University is committed to help with end of month food distributions directly from Food Bank headquarters in Duquesne, PA. You are invited to witness the face of hunger as we distribute food directly to our needy neighbors. This is a well-planned and coordinated activity.

Hearty snacks and beverages will be available to volunteers. Children at least 12 years of age are welcome to help.
